The inaugural Iowa College Goal Sunday
event helped 162 students and families in February 2009. Iowa was able to combine the resources and services of multiple Iowa non-profit organizations including state, school and community programs and various state community colleges. Most students received one-on-one assistance and financial aid advice. Bilingual assistance was also available.
